Memorial Garden Project

The unused lot located at Batchelor and Earling Streets became the focus of the Stewardship Committee's environmental improvement mission in 1999.

Through the generosity of Dorothy Phair, Herb Moos, and Henry Watts, three memorial gardens were created to enclose an out door worship space. A concrete patio and large barbecue were built adjoining the church to provide for opportunities for fellowship and family centered activities.

The memorial gardens and community park will be dedicated in the Spring of 2000 for use by church and neighborhood families. Dennis Johnsgaard and George Petersohn were instrumental in making this enhancement to our church and community a reality.
