Batchelor Street House Project

The First Lutheran Church Foundation undertook a major project in June of 1999. Following the lead of the First Lutheran Church Stewardship Committee's vision plan for the year, the foundation sought to do significant activity that emphasized environmental stewardship. A house located across Batchelor Street from the church was in need of care and renovation. The foundation purchased the property and men of the church began making improvements on the lot and house. While much remains to be done, much has been accomplished during the year.
